Elena Nekrasova
Born in 1964 in Odessa
Education: State University of Odessa, biological departement

1986 – 1994
exhibits as an artist, participates in video-artistic projects, works as art-director for a number of exhibitions. Personal exhibitions in Odessa, New-York, Hamburg, Munich, Prague. Pictures bought for private and museum collections of Europe and the USA.

1997
moves to Moscow, gradutes from GOSKINO Postgraduate Film School. As a student manages THE OLD WOMEN theatrical performance based on Daniil Kharms novels which was staged in Moscow and was quite a success for 2 years.

1999
works as a scriptwriter and film director for POSITIV-FILM Studio of MOSFILM Cinema Company.

E. Nekrasova has made a number of prize-winning TV documentaries frequently broadcasted on Russian TV channels and has written several screenplays for feature films.

2004
starts her career as a writer.
By now – the author of 3 novels and a story collection.
